Banker, Educator, Change Agent

Luis G. Lobo has faced dramatic change and assimilation challenges since boyhood. His formula of hope, determination, engagement and encouragement are contained in his first book "It Is Your Attitude". He was born in Costa Rica, Central America, the oldest of five chidren raised in Lincolnton, NC. Employed by Branch Bank and Trust for 21 years, he serves as Regional President of the Potomac Region based in Frederick, MD. An advocate of lifelong education, he holds undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees in business, economics and banking. He lectures extensively at colleges, universities and industry forums across the US on the subjects of leadership, change management, and sales culture. He is on the faculty of the American Bankers Association, Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University in Washington, DC and the BB&T School of Banking at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC. Luis married the former Debbie Whittle and they have three children; Thomas, Andres, and Felicia.
